LEADER
My name is Johnnie Fountain.  I became a steady part of the Crosswalk family in 2019.  I have worked in different church ministries for over 30 years, and I have loved working with all ages, and diverse cultures.  My inspiration for joining and committing to Crosswalk Redlands was their Spirit Filled ministry.

The Faith Lounge
was developed as a group supporting the diversity at Crosswalk. It is an empowerment group with a focus on Family and Community culture without scrutiny which often results in a form of discrimination.

Understanding that Family culture has taken quite a turn, the question is, what are we doing to receive and except this shift in experience with our SDA families.

We wanted a platform where we are free to be open, to listen, to share about who we are, and most of all to lovewell.

How The Group Will Run
Each group session will follow the topic from the series guide, or the last Crosswalk sermon. The discussions will be centered around the information in the series guide, culture, and how implementing change, if necessary, will be beneficial to our spiritual growth as a church family.

We would love for you to join our group.  We are excited to hear about your ideals and values according to the Word of God, and we would love to be made aware of the different dimensions of family culture that  we all share.

SOME EXAMPLES OF FAMILY CULTURES INCLUDE:

Blended families

Multi-Cultural families

In Home Parenting Exchange

Multi Racial families

Single Parent Racial and Cultural families

Grandparent Family Culture

The above is just to name a few.  Sharing and discussing culture and the changes families are experiencing is healingAnd the values associated with unlimited spiritual growth, as far as our life changes connecting to the word of God, is a hidden jewel so necessary for revealing and sharing in our SDA church culture.
