Fearfully and Wonderfully Made: An LGBTQIA+ Series Study Group

Tell us about yourself and your connection to Crosswalk Church!
Hi! My name is Savv (they/them) and while I attended Crosswalk off and on from 2017-2019, I started consistently attending in the beginning of 2024. I grew up in the Adventist church system, and currently I live and work in West Covina at an office job that is half in-person and half remote. I love reading and writing, and every day I’m actively working on making Jesus the center.

GROUP PURPOSE
The purpose of my group is to create a safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to come together in discipleship that is loving and affirming of the wonderful people God has made us to be. Allies and those who are questioning are always welcome as well, and being “out” isn’t and never will be a requirement.

When do you plan for your connect group to start and how often would it be occurring?
We meet every Sunday from 4pm-5pm PST, with every other week being in-person meetings and the rest being virtual meetings.
